so we’ve all heard about tumblr’s upcoming attempt to shut down porn and other “adult content”. now, my blogs are all sfw, but this is just the latest in tumblr’s stupid crap they’ve been pulling for years. I’ve been here since 2011 and this place just gets worse and worse. I’ve been trying to find a better alternative for several years

anyway, to get to the point. I’ve got accounts on other sites, and tend to be most active on instagram. I also have discord but no one talks to me on it so I only use it to communicate with the other scanlation group I’m in, goldenroze scans. here’s a list of all the places I’m at currently; I’m investigating other sites as well so I’ll update the list if/when I join others

the reason I’m doing this is because I’ve had it with this site. I’m leaving tumblr. to be precise, I’m leaving on 17 december when the new rule is enacted. I’m angered the staff would do such a thing even though I’ve never been here for the porn; this is basically the figurative straw that broke the camel’s back. I will completely log out of tumblr on the 17th but after that, I’ll be gone for good. I may pop back in from time to time to see if there are any asks or w/e, but I’ll be deleting the mobile app from my phone that day. the aforementioned links will be the places you’ll see new pages as they come up, as they won’t be posted here anymore

After first being teased way back in 2014, First 4 Figures has finally unveiled its Phoenix Wright statue, which opens for pre-orders on Friday 23rd November. You can find out how to pre-order the figure and watch a short video on F4F’s website here (but be warned, they’re usually on the pricey side). Even if you don’t preorder, I think it’s a promising sign that we’re finally seeing some AA merch widely available outside Japan.

AA4 broke the mold of the trilogy in a lot of ways but the most radical thing they did was not giving the trial where Phoenix got disbarred an incident number in the vein of DL-6 or SL-9 that gets obliquely referenced without any explanation throughout the game to the player’s ever-increasing frustration.

Like sure there were lots of mysteries and you had to struggle to the end to find out why Phoenix got disbarred but you find out early on from Ema that Klavier was the prosecutor on that case and like, that’s still too clear. What we need is Ema going “Yeah, that glimmerous fop was also involved in the FU-2 Incident” and then that’s all your told during Turnabout Corner and then you get like two more vague mentions of the incident until finally in Turnabout Succession you get to the flashback case where it’s like “oh yeah, this is the FU-2 Incident” but by that point you want to die because they’ve been stringing you along on what this is for so long.
